Day 1Private 2-Days Classic Tour with Badaling Great Wall

8:30 Your Beijing guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby and drive to the Ming Tomb (about 1 hour drive). The Ming Tombs hold the remains of 13 emperors, 23 empresses, 2 princes, and more than 30 imperial concubines of the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644). It is the best-preserved tombs group with the most emperors in the world. We will visit Dingling Tomb Underground Palace, the only tomb that has been excavated so far. Dingling Tomb is the mausoleum of the 13th Emperor of the Ming Dynasty Wanli and his two empresses. Being the most exquisite of all 13 mausoleums, it cost more than 8 million tales of silver, equaling two years of landed taxes for the whole country to build it. The museum houses an extensive collection of imperial artifacts, including pottery, jade, stone carvings, and other historical relics unearthed from Dingling Tomb. Here, you can learn about the construction of the tombs, the story of the Ming emperor and his family, and the culture and customs of the Ming Dynasty (about 1.5 hours).

11:30-12:30 Have a delicious Beijing local-style lunch in the nearby Chinese restaurant, then drive to the Badaling Great Wall (about  30-minutes drive).

13:00-15:00 Enjoy the amazing view on the top of the Great Wall.  Badaling Great Wall is located in Yanqing County, 80 kilometers northwest of downtown Beijing.  Firstly built in 1505 with a total length of 7 kilometers, Badaling also holds the highest position of the Great Wall Wall in Beijing, with the highest altitude of 1015 meters.  This section is also the earliest to be open to tourists among all the parts of the Great Wall, with its dangerous mountain slopes, splendid scenery, and distinctive four seasons.  

16:00-17:00 Explore Shichahai Lake Hutong area.  This classic Hutong route with numerous former celebrities and imperial officials' mansions, a variety of Beijing local snack food, full of trendy shops, and a lively atmosphere.  If you like, sitting on a rickshaw ride (optional, at your own cost) is a fun and relaxing way to tour around those zigzagging and inter-crossing old Hutong, courtyard houses, and local shops.
17:30 Return to the hotel after ending a wonderful day. 

Day 2Private 2-Days Classic Tour with Badaling Great Wall

8:30 After pick up at the hotel lobby, drive to the Summer Palace (about 1 hour drive). The Summer Palace is the best-preserved imperial garden with the most scenic spots in the world.  Originally built in 1750,  the garden features numerous palaces, halls, towers, pavilions, and corridors.  Dwarfing all other Qing Dynasty gardens, the Summer Palace succeeds for its rich imperial-cultural atmosphere and magnificent architecture. Items symbolizing good fortune and longevity are found in every corner of the Summer Palace, one can truly realize the cultural connotations of Beijing and its imperial culture (about 1.5 hours).

11:30-12:30 Have a delicious Beijing local-style lunch in the Chinese restaurant.

13:30- 16:30 Access to the Tian'anmen Square and Forbidden City. It will make a big difference when escorted by an experienced guide.   Forbidden City has 8704 rooms with more than 900,000 cultural and art objects from the collections of emperors in the different dynasties. The experience guide has not only known the place well but also rich knowledge related to Fengshui, architecture, Chinese arts, paintings, and history. We will ensure you do not miss out on the most important places and stories inside the Forbidden City.  (about 3 hours).

17:30 Back to the hotel and ended a wonderful day.
