8:00 or 12:30 Your guide will pick up you at the hotel lobby and drive to Remnant Badaling Great Wall (about 2 hour’s drive).

10:00-14:00 Enjoy the Remnant Badaling Great Wall Hiking. This section is also the location where Li Zicheng, leader of the peasant uprising, led his peasant rebel army in attacking and breaking through in 1644 and eventually ending the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Some parts of the Remnant Badaling Great Wall today are still incomplete and weather-beaten, for your own safety, we nicely suggest you only walk on the wall. You can bring some snacks or sandwiches for lunch on the wall.
