8:30-12:30 Your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby, then catch a taxi or take public transportation to the Beihai Park.
Beihai Park was initially built by the emperors of the Jin Dynasty 1000 years ago, according to the popular Chinese legend of a fairy hill on the sea. Continuously improved by dynasties Jin(1115-1234), Yuan(1271-1368), Ming(1368-1644) and Qing(1644-1911). White pagoda, double-sided Nine-Dragon Screen, Round City, and Jade Islet, famous as Peng-Lai fairyland on the sea are all well-known in Beijing.
Houhai Lake has long been regarded as the most beautiful place in old Beijing. With the beautiful scenery of the lake, numerous temples, former residences of many celebrities, gardens of royal families, and lakeside bars, this area has become the best part of Hutong in Beijing and a historical and cultural feature spot. Sitting on a Rickshaw ride is a fun and relaxing way to tour around those zigzagging and inter-crossing old Hutong, courtyard houses, and local shops.

Wandering around in the old Skewed Tobacco Pouch Street inside Hutong,  there are nearly one hundred cultural shops in styles distinct from each other. These shops specialize in selling various unique articles and local snacks.

Climb to Drum Tower /or Bell Tower to take panorama pictures of Beijing's inner city (optional, at your own cost).

After the tour, your guide will help you catch a taxi back to the hotel.
