8:30 Your private guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby and drive to Tian'anmen Square (about 30 mins).

9:00-12:00 Access to the Tian’anmen Square.  The square has many significant buildings, such as the Monument to the People’s Heroes, Chairman Mao’s Memorial Hall, the National Museum of China, and the National Congress Hall. Forbidden City was where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties handled court business and resided.  A total of 24 emperors ruled the country from here for 600 years (about 2.5-3 hours).

12:30-13:30 Your guide will suggest a good local restaurant of your preference and pay on your own.

14:00-15:30 After lunch, head to the Temple of Heaven.  Here you will not only be amazed by the excellent ancient Chinese architectural skill but also fun to see so many Beijing senior locals unitize this space for social activities such as marriage matching, dancing, and exercising (about 1.5 hours).

15:40-17:00 Walkabout 10mins from the Temple of Heaven to the Hongqiao Market.  It is a multi-story indoor market that sells various goods, including pearls, jewelry, clothing, electronics, bags, shoes, and souvenirs (about 1-1.5 hours).

17:45 Back to the hotel and ended a wonderful day.
