Itinerary
Half Day3-hour Lama Temple, Confucius Temple,Imperial College and Wudaoying Hutong Group Tour
13:30 Our group will meet at the front gate of Yonghegong Lama Temple.

By tax: please show the taxi driver "请带我去雍和宫."
By subway: Take line 5 or 2 to the Subway station "Yonghegong Lama Temple." Come out from Exit F( Southeast Exit). Walk about 300 meters to the Yonghegong Lama Temple.

13:30-15:00 Yonghegong Lama Temple was initially built as the Prince's Mansion and then converted to the Lama Temple by Emperor Qianlong (1735-1796). It comprises exceptional features as its structure contains the architectural styles of both Tibetan and Han Nationalities, including the grand magnificence of an imperial palace and the solemn and respectful atmosphere of an old temple. (about 1.5 hour)

15:00-16: 30 It takes 15 mins to walk from Lama temple to the Confucius temple and Imperial College. Confucius's temple was initially built in 1302 in the Yuan Dynasty for rituals offering sacrifice to Confucius during Yuan(1271-1368), Ming(1368-1644), and Qing (1644-1911).

Its close neighbor, the Imperial College,  looks impressive with hundreds of stone stelae recording the names of successful candidates of the highest level of the imperial examinations(about 1.5 hour).

17:30 Wudaoying Hutong, also known as Wudaoying Camp, was a military camp for Qing dynasty soldiers and later became a residential area for government officials and their families. In recent years, the Wudaoying Hutong has undergone significant changes and is now known as a trendy gathering place for Beijing's young and artistic crowd. The narrow alleyways are lined with small shops, cafes, and galleries, making it a popular destination for those interested in literature, art, and fashion. The area has become known as a hub for the "pretty bourgeoisie," a term used to describe a class of people who are not wealthy but have a taste for the finer things in life, such as boutique shops, specialty coffee, and artisanal products. Our group will dismiss at Wudaoying Hutong.

You can spend more time in the Wudaoying Hutong or explore more places in Beijing, watch fantastic cultural shows, or relax in the hotel and book a nice in-room oil message service from us to eliminate fatigue.
